I’m pretty sure I’ve posted this page sometime before, but I just rediscovered it and I love it, so I’m sharing it with you guys. It’s a UK based consumer guide where you can see lists of companies rated by the website in terms of ethical behaviour. You can even use the cool sliders on the site to customise the rating, making it focus more or less on: environment, animals, people, politics and product sustainability.
I don’t know about you but I’m pretty terrible at remembering which products or companies to avoid, especially as the companies are all owned by the same few people so you never really know who to trust. But having a quick look at the main sections on this website before shopping trips, especially when it comes to things like coffee, chocolate, meat or dairy products, is pretty helpful. Also it’s UK based, which is a massive plus for me, as most other sites I’ve found like this are US based and don’t even list half of the companies I buy from (and anyway, international companies are often run very differently depending on the country you buy from).
