There’s massive ageism going on everywhere because everyonne is learning to fear growing old, as if that’s something that’s as bad as death itself. so many pics and articles that depicts old people are frail/vulnerable/sick/dying/grumpy/poor/jealous of youth/ready for death and it’s ridicolous because lol of course people are going to treat the elderly like they are The Other and fear their own selves getting old so yeah, its about time the message is out there that being old does not = ready to die / jealous of young people
